Blooming Wild Bins
We have ‘Blooming Wild Bins’ in Northcliffe thanks to artists from across the Southern Forests & Valleys region:
- Alicia Rogerson (@alicia_rogerson_art) - Bridgetown
- Tara Brooks (@taraboulevard) - Manjimup
- Liz Edmunds (http://www.petrichorgallery.com.au/) - Walpole
- Amara Sinclair-Hill - Northcliffe
Seven bins have been adorned with painted floral species endemic to the Warren region under threat due to environmental change. Alicia painted the Tall Donkey Orchid and the Majestic Spider Orchid. Tara painted the Northcliffe Kennedia, Liz painted several types of banksia and Amara painted the Morning Iris.
Thanks to our project partners the Shire of Manjimup, @regionalartswa Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries, PeelDepartment of Primary Industries and Regional Development – DPIRD and Northcliffe Community Development (Inc.)
The Blooming Wild Bins project is helping create a sense of place and cultivating community pride and identity within Northcliffe.
