Exhibition opening for WAFTA (Western Australian Fibre & Textiles Association) touring exhibition, ‘Sltered States’ presented at the Painted Tree Gallery in Northcliffe, 2018

Exhibition events

You are here: Home / Exhibition events

Exhibition events by Southern Forest Arts are usually presented at the Painted Tree Gallery in Northcliffe. Most exhibitions commence with an opening event or conclude with a closing event.

Exhibition events provide exhibiting artists and opportunity for an ‘Artist Talk’. These are usually between 10-30 minutes in length and give their audience deeper insight into the artworks they have created. More detailed talks might be held separately to the exhibition open or closing event and could include a powerpoint presentation of the larger body of their work, or images of fabrication, inspiration etc.

Visitors to the exhibition opening of ‘Coastal Connections’ by Ann Rice in 2020, enjoy talking about her work
