Presented by: Southern Forest Arts and Spare Parts Puppet Theatre

Wilfrid Gordon McDonald Partridge is a heartwarming family performance adapted from the beloved children’s book by Mem Fox and Julie Vivas.
Wilfrid lives next door to an aged care home. His favourite resident is 96-year-old Miss Nancy. Together, they discover the importance of kindness, connection and the power of memories.
Throughout the performance, beautiful puppetry, live music, humour and imaginative storytelling bring this much-loved classic to life.
Audiences of all ages will enjoy a story that celebrates empathy, laughter and the special bonds between generations. Importantly, it also reminds us that every memory is precious and worth sharing.
A special intergenerational experience
In addition, this production offers something extra special for local seniors/grandparents.
Before the performance, 20 seniors/grandparents can take part in TAKE A SEAT, a fun and relaxed pre-show experience. Then, five participants will have the opportunity to join the professional performers on stage during the show!
As a result, children may even get to see their own grandparent, or another familiar face, become part of the performance.
Overall, Wilfrid Gordon McDonald Partridge is perfect for children aged 5 years and over, families, seniors and grandparents.
