Well known Pemberton resident Tracy Leigh is holding her first solo exhibition photography exhibition titled ‘the art of the small’ at the Painted Tree Gallery in Northcliffe from 28 March to 27 April 2025.
The exhibition features 35 stunning images, primarily from this region, in a macro form. It is a celebration of colour, sensuality, movement, texture and shape in a unique way of seeing what many of us would never see.
Tracy has been a passionate photographer in the region since around 2010, capturing the beauty of the regions flora and fauna with a special interest in macro photography.
Along with Val Roche and Wendy Eiby, she formed the Pemberton Photography Club in 2010, which was later renamed the Southern Forests Photography Club.
The ‘art of the small’ exhibition spans 14 years of photography, as Tracy refined her photographic vision, culminating in a beautiful, powerfully evocative and thought provoking body of work..
The exhibition is open daily from 9am-3pm
