These beautiful banners designs were created for Northcliffe District High School to celebrate the six Noongar seasons.
They were created by Noongar artist, Natalie Clark, from Djarliny Designs.
The banner designs feature drawings of animals created by Northcliffe students. These were gathered during the Noongar Cultural day last year, facilitated by Bindjareb Middars.
The banners were installed in front of the school in time for Reconciliation Week, and officially launched by local Bibbulmun/Pibelmun Elder, Suzanne Kelly, on the 29th July.
The banner project was a joint initiative of Northcliffe P&C, NDHS and Southern Forest Arts. It was generously supported by the Shire of Manjimup, IGA Pemberton and Northcliffe Community Development. Thanks to Wiseman Signs for doing such a beautiful job on the printing and Phil Watson for the install.
