The Bindjareb Middars (dance group) are coming to the Southern Forests & Valleys on Monday 21st November to showcase traditional and contemporary Noongar culture.
Members of the Southern Forests & Valleys community are welcome to see the dance performance FOR FREE from 9am. It will be held in the undercover area of Northcliffe DHS. All are welcome.
The dance is part of a full day of cultural activities within the Noongar Cultural Day program. It includes learning about the seasons, coooking and art sessions to develop new banners for the front of the school.
This is partnership project between , and Southern Forest Arts. It’s a great way to help increase awareness about Noongar culture – the original inhabitants of this land (Pibelmum/Bibelmun Boodja) in the lead up to the 100th anniversary of Northcliffe settled as a townsite in 2024.
